The place

Unstaffed cabin at 1670 m in the Béarn massif (Pyrénées-Atlantiques). Small living room with a stove and table, adjoining empty room with a ladder up to the mezzanine. 4 foam mattresses on the mezzanine plus floor space for 6 people if you squeeze in. Cabin accessible all year, in good condition, firewood to be gathered from the forest lower down. Visitor logbook showing regular hiker traffic.
