The place

Wooden refuge at 1190 m at the heart of the Cévennes National Park (Lozère), in the Bougès massif, at the Col du Sapet. On the Stevenson Trail (GR 70 and GR 68) between Pont-de-Montvert and Florac. Magnificent setting on the ridge path. Restored in 2016 by the association "Les amis de la cabane Bonnal", open to all year-round. 2 sleeping places on a mezzanine, plus less suitable ground-level places. Rainwater collector and a spring nearby in a trough.
