Cabane Anè Labeilla

The place

Hut at 1459 m in the Couserans (Auzat, Ariège), can serve as an emergency shelter in winter. Restored for tourism: dry interior with a 3-place sleeping platform made of thick half-logs. The fireplace was removed to stop tourists from lighting fires. Name inherited from the last shepherd who occupied it. Access from the Coumebière car park in a 20-minute walk.
