The place
Refugi lliure at about 1800 m in the Vall de Pí, in Cerdanya (eastern Catalan Pyrenees), at the end of the forest track above the Roca Foradada de Pí. A welcoming cabin with a nearby spring and a small meadow a few metres above the shelter. Access from the Àrea Recreativa de l'Agre via the path that climbs the Vall de Pí — the valley is reached from Pí, a hamlet accessible from Bellver de Cerdanya via a road that climbs perpendicular to the Serra del Cadí. A typical stop among the refugis lliures of the Catalan Pyrenees.
