The place
Stone refuge at 2350 m between Lake Sotllo and Estany d'Estats, in the Catalan Pyrenees (Pica d'Estats massif, the highest point in Catalonia at 3143 m). Roof and door, very useful in bad weather. A small shelter found by skirting the western shore of the lake. An important stage on routes towards the Pica d'Estats.
