Sleeping places planned: 6. Solid stone building (like all Andorran refuges). Open year-round. There are 2 buildings; this is the one on the left (when facing them). Open year-round. Equipment: - 6 stacked metal bunks - Mattress and sleeping bag required! Metal is cold! - 1 table - Bench - First aid kit - No firewood nearby ... In every Andorran refuge, you'll find (sometimes there are more...) a "Refugis Passport" with a stamp to apply in the right box. Once you've walked one of the trails crossing the country (GR11, HRP, ...), you present the passport to the National Tourism Office, which gives you a corresponding certificate and a gift! From [->5419]: Path heading south towards Pas de Las Vaques, passing by the edge of Estany de Baix, then continuing south, almost flat, over Port Dret at 2568m; from there you drop into the valley due east, meeting the track coming from Port d'Envalira, and continue east along the track to the hut. From Port d'Envalira: Take the track heading north that climbs to Pic del Maia (very flat for a peak!), topped by a large transmitter, with a beautiful panoramic view over all of Andorra and the Puymorens region; continue on the track which descends east in a big bend (do not keep descending towards Collet d'Ortafa); the track ends at the hut. From France, starting from the road up to Col de Puymorens: At the 1st switchback after passing the entrance to the Puymorens tunnel (which you do not take), there's a trail heading southwest then due west towards Port Dret, passing Bordes de la Vaca Morta, then along the left bank of the stream to the hut.
