The place
Modern refuge at 2200 m just south of the Ibón Bajo de Bachimaña, municipality of Panticosa (Huesca, Aragon), in the heart of the central Pyrenees. Building opened on 14 July 2012, owned by the Aragonese Mountain Federation (FAM). Capacity of 80 beds spread across rooms with showers and bathrooms, running water, hot water, sanitary facilities, bar and meals, first aid, lockers, indoor slippers and a multipurpose room. Staffed. Starting point for the ascent of Pic Bachimala and excursions around the blue ibones.
