Bull Creek Hut

The place

4-bunk backcountry DOC hut in Arthur's Pass National Park (Canterbury), at 696 m. Free. No marked DOC track: independent navigation (map, compass, GPS) is essential. Foot access via the Poulter Valley to the Turnbull bivvy, then via the East Poulter Gorge. Permission from the owners of Mt White Station is mandatory to cross their land on foot. Prior contact with the Arthur's Pass Visitor Centre is recommended.
