Bryant Camp
The place
Bryant Camp is a rustic cabin built around 1930 and restored in 2016, in the backcountry of Bolton Valley (Mount Mansfield State Forest, Vermont, USA). Located at about 812 m altitude, within Bolton Valley Resort's Nordic ski and snowshoe trail network. Unfurnished loft sleeping area for 8, wood stove, wood supplied, outhouse. No electricity or running water. Rented from August 1 to March 31 (closed April 1 to July 31 to protect the very wet site). Weekend rate (Friday-Sunday) $97/night, weekday (Monday-Thursday) $77/night. Access from the Bolton Nordic and Sports Center: 1 mile on foot (snowshoes in winter) or by ski via the Bryant Trail (part of the Catamount Trail). Managed by the Green Mountain Club.
