The place
Guarded hut of the CAS Genève section, located at 3,030 m altitude above Saas-Fee, near the Felskinn cable car (Valais, Switzerland). Officially opened on August 17, 1912, funded by British members of alpine clubs. Renovated in 1997. 134 comfortable beds, 3 dining rooms, modern sanitary facilities. One of the most frequented CAS huts (~9,700 visitors/year) and starting point of the legendary Haute Route.

Getting there
From the Felskinn cable car, ~1h15 via the Egginerjoch and the Chessjengletscher. Alternatives from Plattjen (2h20) or Saas-Almagell (4h). Via ferrata also possible.
