Staffed Swiss Alpine Club hut at 1,753 m above Beckenried (Nidwalden), managed by the SAC Pilatus section. Fifty sleeping places, staffed by Barbara and Beat Aregger. Panoramic view over central Switzerland and Lake Lucerne. A stop between the alpine pastures of Klewenalp and Niederrickenbach. Closed in November and April, with a shelter accessible without cooking facilities or overnight stays during those months. Bring a sleeping bag liner and towel. Quiet hours from 10 pm.
