The place

The paths and refuges located north of Contadour are private property and off-limits to hikers, cyclists, etc. following overuse and abuse. A sign states that since 01/01/2002, the GRP has been closed just before Tinette, right after Les Martins, because it crosses private property. I parked my car on 25/07/2020 at the Gîte Le Trait parking area to take the path along the Ravin de la Fontaine de la Croix leading to the Pas de Redortiers. On my return, I found a note on my windshield asking if I could read and telling me not to 'wander' on private paths. I think this ban also applies to the Borie du Pas de Redortier.
