The place
Staffed hut at 2,340 m in the municipality of Toblach in the South Tyrol Dolomites. Built in 1897 by the Bonn section of the German Alpine Club (Alpenvereinssektion Bonn), renovated under private management in 2006. Four rooms plus additional dormitory places. A self-sufficient operation with sustainable practices: energy from water, sun, and wind, and locally sourced produce with short transport distances. Climbing routes and traverses in the Dolomites for all ages. 2026 season from 16 May to 11 October.
