DNT Rana og omegn cabin in the Saltfjellet (Rana municipality, Nordland), on the Nordlandsruta long-distance trail (650 km). Capacity 15 beds across two buildings — **the new building is the first project in Norway designed with wheelchair accessibility as a priority**, along with families with prams and school groups. Facilities: equipped kitchen, wood heating, electricity, refrigeration; dogs allowed in the old building. Summer: vehicle access from a small car park along the E6, ~100 m away; winter: alternative car parks (the main one not ploughed). Open year-round. Self-service category. Locked with a DNT key, payment via the DNT app, member discounts.
