Bjørnhollia
The place
Bjørnhollia is a DNT mountain lodge at 914 m altitude in the southern Rondane massif (Norway), nestled in sheltered valleys with a splendid landscape. Winner of the 1984 architecture prize of the Sel municipality for the best mountain-hiking facility. Staffed during the week before Easter and at Easter, then in the summer season from around late June to mid-September. Marked DNT trails to neighbouring cabins: Rondvassbu, Eldåbu, Rondetunet, Straumbu, Breisjøseter, Dørålseter and Høgrondbue. Important: Bjørnhollia's self-service rooms will be permanently closed after Easter 2026 as part of a plan to improve conditions for the Rondane's wild reindeer.
