The place

DNT Sør self-service cabin between Valle and Dalen in Telemark, accessible year-round by car via route 450. Two-section structure: a main lodge with 8 bunks in 2 rooms, and a hikers' section with 6 rooms. Locked with the standard DNT key. Gas cooking in each section, solar lighting, wood stoves, water at the north side of the building, USB-A and USB-C charging, toilets, drying/laundry room. Advance booking required per bunk or for the whole main lodge; payment via the DNT app or invoice (+100 NOK). Parking 50 m below, only lodge guests may park at the foot of the building in summer. Dogs outside only or in the shed to the north. Open year-round.
