Bivouac de la Bergerie

The place

Official bivouac area located in the Hertogenwald, on the Hautes Fagnes plateau in the province of Liège, about seven kilometres north of the Signal de Botrange. The site includes a simple shelter fitted with benches and can host a few tents on flat ground surrounded by large conifers. Access strictly on foot or by bike along the Route de la Robinette; motor vehicles forbidden. Only one overnight stay allowed, 6pm–9am window. Booking required via the Centre Nature de Botrange.
