Bivacco Tzan

The place

Bivouac at 2482 m just south of Lago di Tzan, in the valley of the same name (commune of Valtournenche, Aosta Valley, Italy). Capacity 9 spots, always open. At the foot of the Cima Bianca, near the Alta Via 1; serves as a base for ascents of the Punta Tzan (south face and Rey ridge) and the Dôme de Tzan. About 4h30 climb from Torgnon; summer access possible from the top of the Collet chairlift via green trail no. 19.
