The place

Emergency bivouac at 2,753 m in the Val Spluga, near the Suretta glacier, on the Italian-Swiss border at the foot of the Surettahorn. Basic shelter with no fixed beds — bring a sleeping bag and equipment. Waypoint for mountaineers climbing the Surettahorn or following the Via Spluga.
