An unstaffed CAI bivouac in the "Forest of the Doge" of the Republic of Venice (timber for the Arsenal, ship masts and oars, 16th century). Located in a zone of monumental beeches (Fagus sylvatica) and karst pastures, part of the heritage of the Cimbri (medieval German-speaking colony).
