Bivacco Roberto Rovedatti
The place
New wooden structure at 1850 m on the Passo Mùta in the Val Tartano (Sondrio, Lombardy), surrounded by larches. Built in memory of Roberto Rovedatti (1949-2017), who disappeared in the woods of the Val Corta; his children wanted this bivouac to celebrate his love of the mountains and the Val Tartano. Inaugurated on July 29, 2021 (Roberto's birthday). Inside: bunks, wood stove, large table with benches, dishware. Around it, in collaboration with the Consorzio Püstarèsc, a natural wildlife park with benches, tables, and wooden info panels retraces Roberto's commitment to social cooperatives. Access via trail 163 "Alfredo" from the Val Corta (Biorca, 1175 m) in 1h45, or via the "Arene" trail from Campo in 2h45, or from La Bianca near Talamona in 2h15.
