Wilderness bivouac at 1889 m on Alpe Pianezza, municipality of Craveggia (Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, Piedmont), near Monte Castello and the Goletta di Medaro. Building managed by the Amici della Montagna association, open to hikers exploring the Val Vigezzo and its passes into Ticino. Basic equipment typical of CAI bivouacs: bunks, minimal gear, emergency shelter. An interesting stop on the Vigezzo loops from Craveggia or Comologno.
