The place
First modern Ticino bivouac, built in 2023 at 2,725 m in the Val Malvaglia, on the route of the Via Alta Crio in the Valle di Blenio. Designed and built by the SAT Lucomagno section with its volunteers, it presents itself as a crystal embedded in the mountain. Ten beds in a single room with pillows and duvets, kitchen equipped with gas, dry toilets accessible from outside. Open from June to October depending on snow conditions.
