Bivacco Pian delle Stelle

The place

Bivouac entirely built of wood, one of the most original in the Dolomites, at about 1942 m in Laste di Rocca Pietore (province of Belluno, Veneto, Italy). Typical alpine chalet shape preceded by a panoramic terrace, equipped with a table, benches, a stove and a fireplace. Prime view of the majestic north-west face of the Civetta. Accessed via the short Sass de Rocia via ferrata, not very difficult but exposed and reserved for experienced hikers used to equipped passages. Start from Belvedere di Ronch, then trail to the via ferrata; after the third bridge (end of the via ferrata), the bivouac is 5 minutes away.
