The place
Bivouac at 1483 m on the Altavia degli Eroi, municipality of Seren del Grappa (Belluno, Veneto), built on the ruins of the Malga Murelon and restored by the municipality. Dedicated to the memory of Armando Scopel, a well-known figure in Seren del Grappa who worked there for many years as a teacher. A carefully kept interior: fireplace, pantry with crockery, table, chairs, and mezzanine bunks reached by a steep staircase. A splendid panoramic position looking out over the Vette Feltrine, Monte Pavione and the Lagorai group. A waypoint on the routes of the Grappa massif.
