The place

Bivacco Malga Sambuco on the southern foothills of the Adamello massif, in the Val Sabbia/Val Trompia area (province of Brescia, Lombardy, Italy), at an altitude of 1530 m. Continuous Adamello cluster (batches 200-248). A former alpine pasture building converted into an unstaffed CAI Brescia bivouac, part of the heritage of traditional summer grazing in the Adamello Alps. An area of larches, beeches and siliceous subalpine meadows. Near the Sentiero 3V (Via delle Valli Valcamoniche).
