Bivouac at 1518 m in the municipality of Pizzone, Isernia province (Molise), managed by the CAI Isernia section. Small rustic shelter in the central Apennines, always open, minimal facilities (bunks, sometimes a stove and table) typical of central Italian bivouacs. Stopover on hiking routes in the Abruzzo, Lazio e Molise National Park, in a lightly frequented area good for wildlife watching.
