Bivacco Giannantonj

The place

Italian bivouac at 3167 m near the Passo di Salarno, in the Adamello massif (Lombardy). Owned by CAI Brescia, open to the public all year round. Small but welcoming, 6 beds with wool blankets. Access from the Rifugio Prudenzini via path 14 and the glacier, in about 4 hours. Extraordinary viewpoint over the Adamello glaciers, which justifies the more than six hours of walking needed to reach it.
