The place
Gualtiero Laeng bivouac at 3191 m at the Passo di Cavento, in the Adamello-Presanella massif in the Val Genova (Trentino), between the Vedretta di Lares and the Vedretta della Lobbia. Managed by the CAI Sezione di Brescia. Built in 1972; 6 places on a wooden platform. Access from the Rifugio Ai Caduti dell'Adamello via the Lobbia glacier (~2 h) or from the Rifugio Carè Alto via the Sella di Niscili and the Lares glacier (~4 h).
