Bivacco Forcella Coldosè
The place
A bivouac at 2163 m just below the Forcella Coldosè (2182 m), on the south side, in the eastern part of the Lagorai chain (Trentino, Italy). Considered one of the finest shelters in Trentino. Recently built by the Gruppo Alpini di Caoria as a base for the Lagorai traverse and in memory of the sacrifices of those who lived in these places during the Great War. Comfortable fit-out: beds, an economical stove, a table with benches, cupboard, tableware, electricity from solar panels, separate toilets, water source a few metres away. Spectacular view of the Cima d'Asta from the pass. On the TransLagorai route, connected to the Bivacco Paolo e Nicola, the Bivacco Malga Moregna and the lakes of the area (Lago delle Trote, Lago di Moregna).
