The place

Bivouac at 2016 m at the Passo di Valzellazzo (Piccole Dolomiti Bergamasche, above Schilpario, province of Bergamo, Lombardy), accessible via trail 418. Inaugurated in September 2017 and dedicated to Don Giulio Corini, a priest from the Lozio mountains nicknamed thus for his passion for mountain excursions. Modern-design structure: wooden interior, exterior walls double-clad in carbon fibre, solar panels and a small wind turbine supplying electricity for a stove and LED lighting. Capacity 7 places on wooden platforms with mattresses and blankets, two tables, an electric hotplate cooker and a few utensils. No water available.
