The place
Comfortable bivouac at 1700 m on the Colmine di Crevola, in the territory of Crevoladossola (Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, Piedmont), in the Alpe Beglia / Alpe Saborsone area. Built and maintained by the Alpini of Crevoladossola. From the summit, the Domodossola plain opens out as far as the eye can see, dotted with the large characteristic wells that once served as water reservoirs. A typical stop in the Lepontine Alps area, free access year-round with no booking.
