The place
Wooden bivouac cabin built by the Groupe d'Excursionnisme de Busalla, on a narrow ledge a few metres below the summit of Biurca Nord, at 842 m in the Rocche del Reopasso (Val Scrivia, communes of Busalla, Crocefieschi, and Vobbia, province of Genoa, Liguria). At the heart of the Parco Naturale Regionale dell'Antola, in the Ligurian Apennines. Access via the Deanna-Orlandini via ferrata (east side) or via an EE hiking trail (west side). A small, graceful and welcoming refuge. Set among the rocky ridges of the Reopasso: Anchise (882 m), Biurca (934 and 941 m), and the high point Carrega do Diao / Devil's Chair (956 m).
