The place
Beautiful restored stone casera at 1501 m on Monte Tre Pietre, in the municipality of Cesiomaggiore (Belluno, Veneto), converted into a bivouac on a panoramic grassy terrace. Accessible from Ponte Umin in Val Canzoi via the Costa dei Tei, or via the "Corrado De Bastiani" mountaineering trail, which loops around the Valle di Sant'Agapito. Maintained by the Gruppo Escursionisti Cesio, the shelter and trail are secured and fully usable. A good base for the pre-Alpine Dolomite loops of Feltre.
