Bivacco Baita del Giàol on the southern foothills of the Adamello massif, Val Sabbia/Val Trompia area (province of Brescia, Lombardy, Italy), at 1400 m elevation. Part of a continuous Adamello cluster (batches 200-247). A former baita converted into an unstaffed CAI Brescia bivouac, part of the Bagolinesi heritage (shepherds producing Bagòss DOP, a rare cheese from the Adamello Alps). Area of beech, larch and siliceous subalpine grassland.
