The place
A small, always-open bivouac set up near the San Giovanni chapel, at the foot of the Cima Capi, in the Ledro Alps. Six sleeping places on a wooden platform, a cooking corner and a panoramic terrace facing the Cima Capi. Access from Biacesa di Ledro via trails 417 and 460 in about 1h30. Serves as a base for reaching the Cima Capi (907 m) and La Rocca/Cima Sperone (1090 m), as well as for hiking the Ledro Alps Trek. Unstaffed, freely accessible year-round.
