Bivacco "Ai Fop" at 2250 m (DB 2230 m), at the Alpe delle Foppe, a picturesque pasture in the upper Valle del Postalesio (Val Caldenno), municipality of Berbenno di Valtellina (Sondrio, Valtellina, Lombardy). Owned by the "Alpe di Prato Isio e Valle Caldenno" Consortium. Amenities: 6 beds, gas stove, outdoor water fountain. Despite its position in a hidden cirque, access is easy: a well-marked, easy trail from the Pra Isio car park, alternating stretches of drivable track and footpath (about 1 h 40). Nearby, the straightforward ascent of the Poggio del Cavallo (2557 m), an extraordinary viewpoint linking the Caldenno, Finale and upper Vignone valleys.
