The place
Manned hut at 2,441 m in the Venediger group, southwest of the Birnlücke border pass on the Italian side, in the Rieserferner-Ahrn Nature Park (South Tyrol). Built in 1900, the Tridentina military brigade gave it its name, Rifugio Tridentina. Forty-six beds. Well placed as a starting point for the ascent of the Dreiherrenspitze (3,499 m) and panoramic hut-to-hut hikes.
