Birgitzer Alm at 1808 m, at the upper forest edge below the Birgitzköpfl (1982 m), facing the Axamer Lizum ski area, near Innsbruck (Tyrol, Austria). Remarkable panorama over Axamer Lizum, the Nockspitze and the Inn Valley. Reachable on foot (~1 h); the easiest family-friendly route combines the Birgitzköpfllift detachable chairlift at Axamer Lizum with a ~40-minute walk from the top station. Typical alpine cuisine in a cozy dining room or on the large sunny terrace.
