The place
The Bielatal-Hütte is a self-catering hut of the Sächsischer Bergsteigerbund (a section of the German Alpine Club), at 380 m elevation in the municipality of Rosenthal-Bielatal, in the Sächsische Schweiz-Osterzgebirge district (Saxony, Germany). Located in the Bielatal sector of the Saxon Switzerland climbing area, in the Ottomühle district of Rosenthal-Bielatal, about 1 km south of the Schweizermühle district. Capacity of 42 beds spread across rooms of various sizes. Dogs not allowed. The Bielatal is among the most popular climbing areas in the region, with its bizarre rock formations. The southern part of Saxon Switzerland offers scenic beauty, tranquility and wide open spaces.
