The place
Private high-altitude refuge at 3200 m on the western slope of the Lagginhorn and Weissmies (Valais), located directly at the upper station of the Saas-Grund - Hohsaas cable car. Formerly a SAC berghütte, converted into a high-altitude restaurant in 2006. A base for the Fletschhorn, Lagginhorn and Weissmies via the Trift glacier, as well as the Jegihorn and Jegigrat. Panorama of 18 peaks over 4000 m visible from the terrace. Quick access by cable car from Saas-Grund (Kreuzboden 2400 m, then Hohsaas 3141 m).
