The place

Sheepfold at 1240 m in the Vercors-Diois (Isère), along the D7 leading to the Col de Menée. Occupied during the pastoral (summer grazing) season. Inside: a table with four chairs and trestles, a bed folded against the wall with a double mattress, an old armchair, a gas stove and oven with bottle, and a wood stove; kitchen utensils (plates, pots, pans). Watertight metal roof, wooden floor, masonry walls finished with plaster and wood panelling inside. Possible starting points from the point at elevation 989 or the Col du Prayer, both trails meeting and allowing the ascent of the Platary summit.
