The place

Sheepfold at 514 m in the Morvan (Saône-et-Loire), restored around 2015 and used for various summer activities. The main building is closed, but the outdoor lean-to serves as a sheltered picnic area with free access. Access via a forest track (closed to motor vehicles) from the D120, or via marked hiking trails "Chemins Pèlerins" from the Couhard or Saint-Blaise districts south of Autun. About 1 h walk from Couhard, with several possible return routes via the Brisecou waterfall. Source of the Montmain sheepfold at 510 m nearby.
