The place

Sleeping places planned: 4. Places on mattresses: 4. 08/2023: Makeshift shelter, very dilapidated, dirty and damp, potentially *dangerous*: - west wall on the verge of collapse; - roof frame rotten in places; - a third of the roof missing or holed; - sleeping platform for ~4 people laid on the ground. A paradise for draughts, almost no weatherproofing at all. Table and benches, 4 foam mattresses in decent condition, a tarpaulin, a bit of cooking equipment, no chimney, an old unconnected stove. "Barbecue" spot in the enclosure outside; gather dead wood, do not cut trees or shrubs — sensitive natural area. Stream nearby for water, or a developed spring a little upstream. Marked on IGN maps ("Lenze", "Lenzi"). Access on foot from the Col d'Acqua Ciarnente via a good cairned path (which continues to the Lac de Goria and possibly to the Restonica), or from Vaccaghja via the wet meadows of Camputile then a remaining rocky path. Commune of Corte; disused sheepfold reused as a stop on horseback riding routes (the "Cavallu Niulincu" group).
