Corsican sheepfold at 1079 m in the Niolu region (Niolo, Haute-Corse) — a high-altitude valley linked to the Col de Vergio, which connects Albertacce in the Niolo to Évisa in Deux-Sevi. A typical stopover on the GR20 and its variants, where bergeries offer a different experience from the official refuges of the Corsica Regional Nature Park: pastoral atmosphere, meals made from local Corsican produce, family welcome. Not managed by the PNRC but listed within the network of alternative GR20 accommodation.
