The place

Basic four-bunk hut managed by the Department of Conservation (DOC) in the Takitimu Conservation Area, Southland region (South Island, New Zealand), at 560 metres of altitude. Free access. Connections: 2 h 15 to Aparima Hut and 3 h 30 to Lower Princhester Hut. A modest back-country shelter.
