The place

Cabin at 1055 m in the Préalpes de Digne (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence). Attractive cabin with a lovely view of the southern Alps, good insulation, clean mattresses. Managed by the ONF. The cabin and the open room are rented to donkey breeders between mid-November and mid-March — they become their private space during this period. Outside this period, free access. Water from a cistern, but not drinkable (roof water). No water source nearby.
