The place
Recently restored ONF cabin at 1,550 m in a beautiful conifer forest of the Vercors (Gresse-en-Vercors, Isère). Well sheltered with a small stream and dry firewood right nearby. Minimal interior facilities: table and bench, sleeping loft with no mattresses, chairs and tables indoors and out. No stove or fireplace for heating. Water accessible at the sources de la Gresse, a few minutes away. Easy 1 h access from the Gresse-en-Vercors ski resort car park via a yellow-green marked trail. Unstaffed cabin, freely accessible.
