Réconfort Forest Cabin The Réconfort forest cabin, marked on the IGN map, is a small rudimentary shelter in the heart of nature. With its 4 walls, a watertight roof, and a packed-earth floor, it offers a minimalist but functional refuge for hikers. Amenities and Equipment A small fireplace for warmth. Firewood available nearby to feed the fire. Room to lay out a few mattresses on the floor. No furniture or tools provided. An emergency shelter in case of bad weather, or for spending the night unexpectedly at Pré Gaudet. Setting and Access Located along a forest road from Prémol, the cabin blends perfectly into the surrounding natural landscape. It offers a welcome break in a peaceful wooded setting.
