Baraque de Pialot
The place
Building at 1234 m in the Cévennes National Park (core zone), near the Lac des Pises, in the Mont Aigoual area. Just behind the baraque, a recent building roofed with stone slabs (probably ONF) and a small tile-roofed building can serve as storm shelters. A sign reads "private property since July 1996", which may prohibit access for making a fire, eating or sleeping there; visitor reports from 2020 mention finding it open — the situation may vary from season to season.
